Aman got a reward of Tk 75 crore for Google’s mistake

Aman, a cyber-security researcher. He finds out a big mistake of the world’s most popular search engine tech giant Google. That mistake was made in the search engine giant’s mobile operating system Android. Aman first identified the Vulnerabilities in Android. He then submitted a report in that regard. He also won a prize of crores of rupees for him. Yes, that’s what happened to Aman Pandey.

Google says it has made the operating system more secure for the world. For this, Aman has also won a big prize from Google.

According to a blog post on behalf of tech giant Google, Aman Pandey of Bagsamir has become the topmost researcher by submitting reports of multiple errors in Google. In 2021 alone, Aman identified 232 Google errors.

However, this is not the first time. So far, Aman has submitted a total of 280 reports to Google’s Android Vulnerabilities Rewards program in 2019, which has gone a long way in making the program successful.

Goodness that Google’s mobile operating system is not just for Android. The same goes for Google Chrome, Search, GooglePlay, and other products. Such a problem has been going on for a long time.

This type of program is called Bugs Bounty in the language of technology. Not just Google. Companies like Apple or Microsoft also do such programs. Because every platform has some security flaws.

The search engine giant Google is offering a reward of 8.7 million US dollars for those who can catch the most important mistakes. Aman Pandey from Madhya Pradesh also received 8.7 million US dollars.

Google pays the most money for catching bugs on Android. They even increased the prize money by 3 million US dollars in 2021 compared to 2020. So far, Google VRP has given the highest prize money in the history of 1.56 thousand US dollars. It was given to discover the exploit chain on Android.

In 2021, 115 Chrome VRP researchers were awarded a total of 2.2 million for reporting 333 unique Chrome security bugs. In 2021, Chrome was awarded 3.1 million for reporting a browser security bug and 250,000 for a Chrome operating system bug.
